• Partner up – An extra set of hands can be incredibly helpful if you’re painting a large area like a parking lot or garage. While you lay stencils and paint, your partner could prepare the next stencils or carry your supplies as you walk around your site. 
• Cleaning hack – Lightly spray your stencils with cooking spray prior to use. This will help the stencils to shed the dried paint easier once you complete your project. Never use harsh chemicals to clean your stencils as they can damage the vinyl.
• Don’t over apply – If you over apply paint, it could run underneath your stencil — your letters, numbers, and symbols could all run together. Instead, apply a light layer and use two coats if you must.
